ITV Promotion Films

Before ITV companies decided that they needed a corporate National image,
they produced some great promotional films over the years.

In the 1980s and 90s, I was very fortunate in that I could receive
Tyne Tees, Yorkshire, Central and Granada so below
is a selection of the promos for your viewing pleasure.

Of all the companies, we thought that
Tyne Tees was the best.

Presenters appeared in vision, long after
they'd disappeared from most other companies,
and it was very unusual for closing credits
of programmes to be voiced over.

All in all, it was a very friendly station
