ITV London Trade Tests

Independent Television was launched on the 22nd of September 1955, forty six years ago.
To mark the occasion, here is a brief look back at ITV Trade Tests.

These slides were part of the "Start Of Day" sequence
These demonstration pictures were transmitted during ITA Trade Tests. Each ITA region had its own pictures, these are the ones shown in the London region. They were discontinued in 1964, just prior to the introduction of Test Card D.
