BBC Light Programme

The Light Programme started on July 29th, 1945
and closed at 02:02 on the 30th September 1967.
At 05:30 on same day, it was replaced by Radios One and Two.

It's interesting to ponder where British radio would be now,
had the offshore stations not appeared.
